Steve Frissell was a blast of excitement during his too short Sprint Car career. A winner in Midgets both before and after his terse Sprint Car career, Frissell towed weekly from Holdrege to toss dirt. He gave it his first try in 1982 racing a Nance for Don Vonderfecht. He then bought his own La Verne Nance original from Homer Macklin and etched his name in history with three fine years. But quickly, just as it started, it ended in 1986 when Steve returned to Midgets. More on Steve Frissell coming soon!
